2007 CATIE Awards

The International Caterers Association presents the annual CATIE Awards; Catered Arts Through Innovative Excellence.
Started in 2004, these prestigious awards are designed to recognize the achievements of caterers and are open to entries from caterers in any country in the world.
The 17 Categories include; Best New Food Concept, Best Hors d'oeuvre, Best Single Plate Presentation, Best Plated Menu, Best Buffet Presentation, Best Themed Menu and Presentation, Best Celebration Cake, Best Use of Food as Décor, Innovative Mixology, Best Tote Menu Design, Best Barbeque or Picnic, Best Marketing Collateral, Best Collaborative Effort, Signature Caterer - Best Wedding, Signature Caterer - Best Event, Pastry Chef of the Year, and Chef of the Year.
For fair judging, caterers are not allowed to identify themselves in their actual entry binder, which allows every entry an equal opportunity and consideration. The CATIE winners will be revealed at the ICA CATIEs Gala on February 28th 2008 during the catersource ® 2007 Educational Conference.
